Understanding Your Hormonal Health

Our Menopause blood test will give you the answers you need about your health and whether you may be starting the menopause. Going through the menopause can be a really challenging time, with big changes in your hormone levels typically taking place in your 40s or 50s.

Common Symptoms

  • Mood swings
  • Hot flushes and faintness
  • Fatigue
  • Disturbed sleep
  • Weight gain
  • Anxiety or depression

Early Menopause & Transition

Some women can experience menopause earlier than normal, and even for those who are expecting it in the next few years, symptoms can start much earlier – this is called the menopause transition or perimenopause.

Thyroid Check Included

Our menopause blood test will check your level of hormones to identify any changes and highlight whether you may be experiencing menopause. We also include checks for your thyroid health and function, because some menopause symptoms can actually be caused by thyroid problems instead. It’s not uncommon for thyroid dysfunction to start in your 40’s or 50’s – so we will help you understand whether you are experiencing the menopause, thyroid problems, both, or neither!

What We Check:

  • Hormone levels to identify menopause status
  • Thyroid health and function check
  • Consultation to discuss symptoms and management
