A stress echocardiogram combines the benefits of an exercise stress test with the detailed imaging of an echocardiogram. It evaluates how well your heart pumps blood when it's working hard.
This test provides more detailed information than a standard exercise stress test by showing how your heart muscle moves and pumps during and after exercise.
Particularly useful for detecting coronary artery disease, especially in cases where resting tests are normal but symptoms suggest heart problems during physical activity.
