Initially working in a Turkish restaurant, she eventually found a job as a research nurse while studying for medical exams which she passed first time. With her strong work ethic, she undertook her GP training in the UK in the NHS and shortly after secured a role as an NHS GP, overcoming challenges like learning to drive.
