Home testing kits
For the ultimate privacy and convenience, we also offer home sexual health test kits for some STIs, for you to use remotely. If you wish, you can book a GP appointment by video call to discuss any symptoms you are experiencing or other concerns you may have. We can also do home visits for an additional fee. Please speak to one of our team if you are interested in this.
What does STI testing involve?
An STI test (sometimes known as an STD test) can involve either a blood test, a urine test or a swab taken from the penis or vagina. The type of test you need will depend on which STIs you are being tested for: for some tests this will need to be all three.
Before your test, you will have a confidential consultation with one of our experienced team of GPs, who will take the opportunity to make you comfortable and prepare you for your tests. They will ask questions to help determine which STI tests you will need and will explain what the tests involves.
Your results will be available shortly afterwards. Many test results are ready on the same day. We will ensure discreet communication, and this will be either by email or txt.
